I have Gizzy - the dynamo lori.

Patrick the flirtatious 'tiel.

And Oscar the blue split quaker.

Quakers aren't playful birds.  They organise.  They own and organise.  Once it's in his cage, it's his and you can't touch it.  We just put an empty box from the crackers in there.  After telling daughter to 'pithoff' he bit her and laughed.  Its his box now.  Good luck in moving it lol.

He's very talkative.  His latest is 'byebye'.  That's added to the:

Hello
What are ya doing
Ohhhhh
step up
stobbit (grumpy)
ha ha ha (as in Boris)
wanker
quaker
wanna cuppa tea
yummy yummy (very lecherous tone)
pretty booooooy (lcherous)
good boooooy (conceited)
what
whatz that
eh?
what is it
othcar (his own name)
othcar a quaker (or maybe thats Oscars a wanker)

I feel Miss almost-17 had a hand in that.

And "Oh Thit".  He says that when he slips off your shoulder.

I took Oscar's chopsticks out of his bunker and put them across some bars in his cage.

He called me a bloody wanker :sl

So I poked him with a chopstick (carefully).

So he screamed (to many viewings of Saw movies methinks).

Now he's muttering under his breath as he puts his chopsticks back in his bunker.  Too bad I can't superglue them on the cage.  That'd mess him up. :-n

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body.

But rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...

WOW, What a Ride!"

Please note: IMHO and e&oe apply to all my posts.

This is Ruby.  She's an African Grey.  I intend getting one when the cats and children have left home.

Warning - she says what she's thinking.
