A couple of weeks ago I was talked into making some semilina pudding by MrSp.

This was on a short list of puddings my siblings and I were not overly fond of but there was a small store of semilina in the cupboard since it is one of MrSp's treats he makes for himself when I am away.

To my surprise my kids loved it.

Last week I raised the bar and another pudding I disliked as a child - sago. (eww fish eggs)

Again my kids loved it - so much so that the leftovers got finished off for breakfast straight from the fridge.

Tomorrow I try the ultimate test. The pudding I loathed as a kid, so much so that I refused to eat it (which is saying something).

Tapioca. (frog's eggs )

I used this recipe.

http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1632,147172-229207,00.html and doubled it.

It seems I got it a little sweet for some palettes.

Sp2 when back for 2nds.
