It was an accidental pregnancy and would have been worse but for the fact that an extremely cold jet of sprayed white vinegar hit their private parts unknotting them soon after they copulated.

For future reference they part company VERY fast.

Just not fast enough to prevent pregnancy.

They were born on Sunday morning, Feb 20.  Small enough to fit in one hand.  Now they have pretty much quadrupled in size and had their first wet food tonight.  They were so funny to watch and Tank (black with brindle feet) sat back after practically inhaling his share, fell sideways and slept.  Actually, they all pretty much did that one after the other.

They are Tank (as above), Bandit - caramel with a white head and eye patches of caramel and black, Spot - caramel with black ticking on the end of his fur (a little like a german shepherds colouring) and a small white spot on the back of his neck, and Lax (brindle like his mum).  Lax is called that because he can relax like no other animal we have ever seen.

Once we can get some decent photo's I'll post one.

Tank and Bandit have the short boxer fur.  Lax and Spot have the longer fur from the border collie.  Dad was a smithfield boxer cross.

Bandit is Mr DT's favourite and he wants to keep.  But a friend who has just successfully completed chemo also loves him and wants him.  Cancer trumps Mr DT.

This was taken just before they opened their eyes.  They had pretty well doubled in size at this point.

This is Lax and he's a carbon copy of his mum.

This is them now.  Lax is in the forefront.

Spot is right at the back, with Bandit and Tank in the centre.

The three breeds involved are Boxer, Border Collie and Smithfield.  I still think Bandit has managed to look like a St Bernard though.  I love Tanks brindle feet.  He looks like he's been wading through bleach.

Just found this.   They are so cute.    It will be hard for you to part with them.
