This has always been a bone of contention in our household - though now after hunting online I find Autumn officially starts around 11.44am on the 21st of March.

Pisses me off when people claim Autumn 3 weeks b4 its time  Grin

I have noted this on the calendar.  I am so not ready for autumn anyway.

Stands to reason that equinox and solstice mark seasonal beginnings and endings.
