350g thickly sliced bread, crusts removed -(I left the crusts on) 250 g bacon rashers chopped 1 cup (120g) grated cheese 1 small (150g) red capsicum chopped fine 6 eggs 2 cups milk (500ml) 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Preheat the oven to 180 (fan force 160) Cut bread into cubes Place in casserole dish ( 6 cup capacity) Cook bacon till browned. Sprinkle cheese bacon and capsicum over bread. Whisk eggs till combined, add milk and sauce and season with salt and pepper, whisk again and pour of bread mix in dish. Bake for about 35 mins until set Sprinkle with the parsley.
You could add any other veg that tempts your taste buds e.g. mushrooms, spring onion, corn etc.

we do this on christmas day. Once you pour the egg mix over it cover it and place it in the fridge over night. Then cook it as receipt says. The egg mix soaks into the bread and man it is very very yummy.
