My best friends mum had an operation last week and she signed the forms to say if something went wrong it was not the hospitals fault.  The surgin nicked something and she is now paralised.  She is not aloud to leave hospital at all until the house has been fixed up for her.  They have no money to do this and they are all upset.  I know in NZ if this happened ACC would pay for the house to be fixed up.
Is there any thing they can to do get help please let me know.
Thanks you in advance.

she may have signed to say the hospital was not at fault but I don't think that exempts the surgeon.

[W]hat the internet and its cult of anonymity do is to provide a blanket sort of immunity for anybody who wants to say anything about anybody else, and it would be difficult in this sense to think of a more morally deformed exploitation of the concept of free speech.
