I's a strange recommendation thing. If you love or hate a post and have over 100 posts under your belt you can either applaud or smite. But it covers all postings, so you can't tell what has been applauded or smited. And it also means if you really dislike a poster you can just keep hitting them with smites I think. Which isn't really reasonable.
