I know we're not concerned about spelling here but I wonder if KTJ realises that he constantly misspells the Prime Minister's name.

If you get it right KTJ then people may not have to puzzle about who you are talking about.

Labour received a battering at Ratana township yesterday as National and the Maori Party continue to bask in popularity after more than a year in office together.

Isn't Jonkey such a lucky man?

He has all these amateur spin-doctors at XNC2 who rush to post spin whenever they feel affronted by anything posted about our illustrious Prime Minister.

I wonder why he (and his government) have felt the need to increase the “spin-doctor” budget in the Beehive by a huge amount compared with what was spent on spin-doctors during the term of the last government, when he has all these amateur spin-doctors at XNC2 he could turn to? If Jonkey was an astute Prime Minister, he could reduce the Beehive's spin-doctor bill and instead put the money saved back into adult night-classes and reverse the vandalistic act by Anne Tolley of trashing an education system that has served generations of Mum & Dad New Zealanders!

XNC2's amateur spin-doctors will most likely go into yet another feeding frenzy pumping out spin in reply to this post....Grin

Also (in order to show they aren't hypocrites), I presume XNC2's amateur spin-doctors are rushing off letters to the editor of The New Zealand Herald (who published that cartoon yesterday) spouting the same spin they have posted in this thread? After all, all I did was post the cartoon, with no comment whatsoever, in the same way the cartoonist drew the cartoon with no comment whatsoever and the NZ Herald likewise published it with no comment whatsoever.

ahhh but look at the heading Jonkey visits Ratana Pa ,

can ya really blame someone for using their own little spin by seeing the link between the PM's given name and the derivatives thereof?

shonkey, donkey, wonkey   the list goes on and on but I can't be bothered going to a rhyming dictionary site just now

I had to laugh when the first part of the "National Cycleway" was opened with much hoopla.

Remember this was one of the strongly endorced job creation schemes.

Sp1 looked at the pictures with disbelief. "I've cycled on that" was her response.

And she had, back in March 2009 as part of project K, not long after the building of a "National Cycleway" was announced. So close in fact that she was already away from home preparing.

I can safely say that no new jobs were created to aleviate growing unemployment in order to construct that section.

The cycle trail had been there awhile already.

A bit like the boot camps ssweetpea.

They were around for ages in Wairoa before being claimed by shonks and the nation going boot camp mad - maybe he's more of an endorsement queen in much the same way Madge was for Palmolive?

Where's the harm - hats off for the slick marketinkering.  We feel gooooood - I genuinely believe he's doing a good job fronting what's put in front of him.

Just as well we know the sun rises because the earth spins though, or we'd be lead to think it rises because of Him Cheesy
