Who here can talk me through setting up the fax on my computer which has an XP professional platform?

Ok....
And sorry for the delay - life has being a mad house lately...

Some questions first...
Do you have a standard dial up Modem in your machine and do you have a dedicated Fax line which you can plug into it?
Also - do you have any Fax software or are you planing on using the windows built-in stuff?


If you are just using the standard windows fax service and you have your modem plugged in then follow this guide it should get the job done for you - just go step for step and take your time, making sure you complete each step in the order spec'ed there.

I had it working fine until my motherboard melted down and I bought a new computer.  Its never worked since.  I have redone all the wizard stuff today, I'll have to wait and get the missus to send me a test from her work.
