Mobsters arrested for intimidating a woman and her pre-school children.

What a bunch of heroes!

http://www.stuff.co.nz/4844664a11.html

My old mother used to describe two different groups of Maori. The warrior tribes who produce the Ngarimu's, Apiata's and other remarkable achievers and the 'slave' tribes who produce-------monkeys.

I served with the warriors, Nga Taumataenga. I still socialise with them, they are my 'iwi'.

I now face the 'others' in my work. Nga Taumataenga and the monkeys are worlds apart. It is unbelievable that they are of the same race.

I have met only one 'monkey' who has told me that regrets not following his warrior family into Nga Taumatataenga, a Maniapoto - a proud Army/Nga Taumataenga name.

I used to hang out with one of the original Mongies. All of the originals were White Honkeys!

My mate has still got his patch, although he hasn't had anything to do with the gang since the mid-1970s when he left Hastings. He has however still got the bit of paper signed by Mr W. K. L. Dougall S.M. (Hawke's Bay Stipendiary Magistrate of the late-1960s and 1970s) and the Registrar of the Hastings Magistrate's Court (as it was then known), declaring him to be a Rogue and a Vagabond under some section and subsection (I can't remember the actual numbers) of the old Police Offences Act (that was eventually replaced by the Crimes Act), and he proudly has that declaration framed and hanging in pride of place on his lounge wall in his home at Gisborne, where it is a huge source of mirth and amusement by residents and visitors alike to his house. You can't get one of those documents served on you these days and my mate reckons it is like having the “ultimate notch” on his belt!

Faaaarking hilarious!!  Grin

Aye KTJ and I bet your mate would be bloody ashamed of the antics of the current crop of monkeys.

Intimidating women and babies is plumbing the depths of depravity and seems to be increasingly the norm for these sub-humans.

Mongies has now univerally degenerated into the term 'monkeys'.

I see young lads walking through the markets on Saturday mornings, with bright red scarves round their necks and round their heads - some of them have a slit to see through, theyve got 3 shirts and jumpers on the top one a black hoodie, with black pants dropping to their hips and the temperature is 25+c.

I cant help it - I start smiling when I see them and by the time they are beside me Im cracking up - they just look so stupid!!

Lovelee, they dress up like that to 'bulk up' i.e. look bigger.

Strip their patches and other regalia off and they are quite often scrawny little runts.

We don't allow gang regalia of any sort to enter Court buildings in Hawkes Bay - hats, patches or bandannas {you'd laugh to hear them whinge when they're told to put their 'hankies' back into their pockets. I've even been confronted by female associates with, "That's insulting, those are his "colours". As if it's some sort of Maori cultural thing}.

It modifies behaviour because without the fancy dress they are nobodies.

The Courts in my area are much more user friendly for all who need to be there. I'm proud of that.

The disgusting pieces of shit should be too ashamed to show their colours.  The law should be such that they are terrified of the consequences of showing any colours.

As for the Lower Hutt area.  How dare they have 'our' houses.  How dare they own a community.  That woman's children were babies going by the toys you can see in the picture.  What kind of hero terrorises babies?  Fucken shits.  And the statement the cops avoid the area at night?  WTF?Huh  The area should be flooded at night so the coloured up fuckhead monkeys are too awed to fucken breathe heavily.

You hear it all the time that 'this is my culture.' Since when did LA gang styles become Maori culture?

moreover, i say its a case of how has American popular culture influenced Maori culture?

from a music perspective we have some great Maori [and poly] hip hop groups spreading a positive message to youth. in that they're using American culture to express themselves i don't have a problem with that from of expression. yet, a few  give others a bad name. however, Maori need to take responsibility for the high rate of drinking and violence which they blame on American culture. i disagree this isn't solely a Maori problem, n.z. has wet drinking culture, so i say its a kiwi culture problem.

Mongrel Mob gang members forced a terrified neighbour and her two young children from their home, then ransacked it for nearly all its contents the next day.

Police have described the gang-plagued street in Pomare as "the closest you get to the Bronx in Lower Hutt" and say even their officers avoid it at night for safety.

The traumatised family have now fled the district and police say they have "contingencies" for their protection.

Fifty police officers, some of them armed, made dawn raids on seven houses in and around Pomare's Farmer Cres yesterday.

Ten patched gangsters and associates were arrested. Most of them appeared in Lower Hutt District Court on a range of burglary, drug and intimidation charges.

As the gang members were bailed back to their homes, police said it was not safe for The Dominion Post to visit Farmer Cres last night. Police gave journalists an escort, while other police cars patrolled the area.

Though children played on footpaths, there was an eerie quiet in the street. Patched Mob members darted inside houses as the police car approached and one watched through binoculars from the top floor of one of many grey state housing blocks, before shouting and gesturing at the squad car.

Constable Stu Rota said police regularly had missiles thrown at them in the street and one officer was badly assaulted when he attended a domestic incident before Christmas. "It's not the safest place to go at night. We only go in there if we have to."

"It depends on what kind of mood they're in and what they're up to. It's the biggest concentration of gang members [in Lower Hutt]. Go through there any time of day and you'll see a patch."

A terrified resident said she feared for her family's safety. "It's a scary place to live because of the Mongrel Mob. There are always loud parties, boy racers screeching round, and yelling and swearing. We want to move out, just to protect my children."

Inside the burgled state house, all that could be seen were toys scattered across the living-room floor, blankets and a few pieces of upturned furniture.

Inspector Geoff Gwyn said the woman and her children, aged four and two, were threatened by three gang members and told to get out of their home on February 1. The property was burgled by gang members the next day.

"They emptied almost everything from the house a 42-inch TV, electric appliances, whiteware, beds and bedding, even food."

The heavy police response was not simply because of gang involvement. "The safety of a woman and her children were threatened and they were forced from their home. The burglary is almost secondary."

Between the burglary and when Housing NZ returned to the house last week, someone broke in and stole the hot water cylinder, Mr Gwyn said.

Stolen items were found during yesterday's raids, including an $8500 harp taken from a car in Wellington. A high-powered air rifle and cannabis were also found.

All of the gang members, aged between 17 and 49, surrendered to police peacefully.

The arrests came just a day after legislation giving police greater powers to tackle gangs passed its first reading in Parliament.

the other thing is that this area is most probably a state housing area. (I am not familiar with the area) so therefore they are our (taxpayers) tennents.

Surely they should be thrown out!!!!  and please dont give me the 'poor me' bleat and what about the kids.  They have chosen to live like this......go do it on the marae or their own whanau land, and see how far they would get........NOT.

No decent self respecting Maori marae would have them.....  there was an article on the television on Maori TV which talked of this....banning the gangs and associates from the Marae's ........ the gentleman speaking was saying that the gangs talk of their 'culture' and 'whanau'.   Well let them then....but on to use our marae's.....this is our culture and whanau...it is obviously different to theirs ..go away.

hmm it would seem no one wants them  (gangs) then........

what to do...what to do??
