First it has been raining pretty much all week.

Yes we needed the rain but this lot has been so heavy that the lawns are back to quagmire and the weeds are regenerating at speed.

The slugs/snails have got the petunias I planted last week - rain washed the pellets away.

Blackbirds got all of the lettuces - not a trace remains

The Wando Peas have rotted in the seedling tray - again.

Half the Sweetpeas are missing along with half the mange tout.

It is so damn muddy that walking across to the vege patch is dangerous let alone trying to pull a weed or a pasnip.
