For quick easy preparation, I frequently use the MAGGI COOK IN THE POT sachets. They have some really delicious ones.

Corn Beef/Silverside

Remove the fat from the meat, put the piece of meat in the crockpot add an onion (quartered), chunks of carrot and 4 cloves of garlic (still whole). Add water to almost cover the meat. Add about a tablespoon of golden syrup. Turn crockpot on slow and go away! I usually cook mine for between 8-10 hours depending on the size of the meat. The meat just melts in your mouth.

Aww yummmm - Ive bought a 5l Breville new off Trademe.  It didnt arrive till late today so I have to wait till tomorrow.  Ive got some ox tail out of the freezer for tomorrow.  And Ive bought a piece of bolar to do in it too .. hmm hmm .. thanks for those Smiley
