Yer...

I think it would do us all good to question ourselves a bit over this.

We claim to be non-racist, yet our actions suggest something completely different. Perhaps we in the western world shouldn't be holding our heads so high after all...

However - once again - I mostly blame the media... like it or not they do control our emotions.

People are people Daz.  They will give where and when they wish to I guess.

I wonder how many wont give to some countries because of the unknowing of where and how the money will be spent.

I suppose the figure is much higher than what we gave Fiji also?

Laughter is the best medicine, unless you've got a really nasty case of syphilis, in which case penicillin is your best bet.

I think that the worlds woes could all be laid at the feet of the media. However that does not gel with my philosophy of being accountable for my choices. It is such a cop out to say 'the devil made me do it' or the media caused my anger therefor I said stuff it about the dear souls who suffer as a consequence of the fires. We need to give and give again to alleviate our cousins pain Cry

What are the amounts raised Dazza?  For the bushfires and the tsunami.
