A few months ago I noticed that books that were published prior to 1920's are fair game for re publishing (coz in most cases the copyright has expired) Derivative works can be made and sold apparently. So just as an exercise I downloaded an ancient book on the art of fencing, (with epees and sabres, not wires and posts) then drew up a ebook cover and used a pdf writer to compile my own version of the book. The only bad buzz is I have to ask permission from Project Gutenberg to sell it, but at least I learned how make ebooks if I ever decide to write anything original?
