Nar - big difference - I can actually see the predictions of 10 years ago happening now - 90 odd years ahead of 'schedule', and I know that what I say is fact proven and backed by sceince - it has nothing to do with 'beliefs'.  |

All I did was ask a question and was told it was a dumb question, knowing human nature I didn't think it was, you assumed I was talking about myself and threw it back at me, it just proved to me that you do let emotion drive your comments and didn't actually stop and really think about what I was asking/ saying! |

Didn't someone (KTJ) suggest that they all be merged afew days (weeks?) ago?
So I did. It took over half an hour.

Ive always figured any 'breaking news' story should have its own thread anyway. Its not like theres a waste of space or paper. Trying to search for something within one breaking news story is almost impossible  |

sorry but IMHO merging all Breaking News Stories into one thread is stupid ... each story takes on a life of its own take for example the Napier Seige it had us all spellbound for days with comments being posted as soon as there was something new on the web and if any new Breaking News Story breaks im going to post as a new thread if at the end of its life some MOD wants to merge it then so be it but whilst its topical it should remain alone .. like L'lee psoted " Its not like theres a waste of space or paper " |

A massive manhunt is underway on Great Barrier Island in the Hauraki Gulf after a man was attacked and a young woman went missing. A police spokeswoman said the man was assaulted with a weapon at a residential address, believed to be near the town of Claris. He was airlifted to Auckland Hospital where he was being treated for a head wound. A woman family associate who was present in the house at the time of the attack has gone missing and it was feared she may have been abducted by the attacker. Members of the Armed Offenders Squad (AOS) are tonight combing the island for the pair in deteriorating weather conditions.
