Helicopter crash

Short description: Helicopter crash

Full description:
A small helicopter crashed into Waitemata Harebour between Devonport and 
Tamaki Drive at 1117 am and sunk almost immediately.

A Navy boat and the Police launch Deodar attended. The 2 occupants of the 
helicopter were rescued by Navy personnel and taken over by Deodar where they 
were seen by an on-board paramedic and taken back to Mechanics Bay. They 
suffered minor injuries.
