Globalism is dead for America.
But not for most of the rest of the world, which is going to continue to trade with each other while erecting trade barriers against America in retaliation to America erecting trade barriers against other countries. As America's influence in the world declines and they start slipping into a has-been power, America will be begging the rest of the world to allow them to join the fold again. I hope the rest of the world tells America to “go fuck yourself” and lay in the bed they have created for themselves.
