And with that, I'm off to work. I'm an essential worker providing an essential service, so it's business as usual for me.
From the end of the week, I'm on paid leave. When I get back after three weeks, all passenger trains between Wairarapa will have replaced with buses for the duration, so I'll be on special paid leave getting the same pay as though I had worked, although I'll be required to be available on-call if I'm needed, but I don't have a problem with that.
