get the kids organised and make your own paper bags out of newspaper ...
another idea using old singlets ...
turn the singlet inside out and sew along the bottom edge ...
simple the shoulder straps become the handles ....

:apld How clever... I don't know if I would make the singlet one and I have seen a bag made from old jeans... legs cut off and stitched straight across. Handles added.

And cleaning windows. Hot water, good splash of meths and then rub with newspaper. Damn sight cheaper than buying window cleaner.

I use a window cleaner, and hot water with a cup of white vinegar in it. Very little energy expended. :larf
