We must have had the same NYE weather as you, Ali. I just loved the showers, squelched the hi-jinks and fireworks in my neighbourhood. which was absolutely marvellous cos I had been nervous with drought conditions quite bad in the district.
Funny to hear the fireworks start up every time after a heavy shower that had sent the campers back under cover.

The fireworks went on to all hours on Christmas Eve and Christmas night. The rain was a blessing on NY's Eve.
