Stunning and hot days in Upper Hutt for yesterday and today - it rained heavily late afternoon/early evening 31 December - but I didn't care - I was just off night syift nd welcomed the rain to dampen too much hi-jinks and fireworks in my neighbourhood.

Thank goodness for air conditioning.
