Well....I did warn you.

Don't moan if you don't like HUGE downloads.

I only posted this thread experimenting with something.

so what is the experiment TJ?

That's the size of pic my kids send me, taken with their fancy ipod-Iphone-android thingies. If I want to see them I have to open them with Paint and do several re-sizes.

Have you bought yrself one of them?

For that shot, a Canon 550D SLR body with a EF-S 18-200mm zoom lens.

That photograph was taken from SH35 on the hill between Te Araroa and Hicks Bay a few weeks ago. I was driving over the hill
and suddenly noticed the rainbow out towards East Cape as I passed a gap in the trees, so backed up to take a few photographs.

Okay....the REAL reason why I posted that full-sized image to this group.

I want to make that my desktop wallpaper background on my KiwiRail computer system personal desktop. But I wanted to use the full-sized image, rather than a cut-down one (even though their system automatically re-sizes it). I attempted to transfer it from a USB stick to My Documents at KiwiRail, but their system rejected it as being too large a file. Ditto when I emailed it from home to my KiwiRail email address (Plan B). So I uploaded the full-sized version to PhotoBucket and attempted to access it from there (Plan C), but yet again their system rejected it as being too large a file.

So that brought me to Plan D.....post it to a messageboard forum, hosted from PhotoBucket, then attempt to open the thread using KiwiRail's system. And voila....success....I have now not only saved the full-sized image to My Documents at KiwiRail, but it is also now my Desktop Wallpaper image at work.
