how come it was taken ? where was it stored ? Police are warning that a bottle of industrial-strength cocaine stolen from Palmerston North Hospital is a potential killer. The controlled drug stored in a small glass bottle labelled cocaine, was believed to have been taken over the weekend. Police and health officials were extremely concerned that the drug may be sold or taken recreationally, Detective Glen Jackson said today. Ask our resident dentist about it. I don't know if dentists still use the stuff, but they used to.

Novocaine doesn't contain cocaine. Cocaine is made into a paste and used for nose operations. It's usually locked inside a safe so would be interesting to find out details about how it was stolen.

Yes lovelee, I saw that. I still don't see how a upper(?) would be beneficial to surgery. Killing off druggies yeah, but not otherwise. On that note, I followed the P freak who blew himself up last year into the local mall today. The one from Christchurch who burned his willy as well as a lot of other things. He walks funny. It's a very effective anaesthetic. It's a stimulant hence it's addictive properties. Depending on how much you apply, the area (apart from intact skin) goes numb for hours…kinda like Sexy’s brain…but in his case it’s sorta permanent.
Most hospitals around the country source cocaine paste instead of making it themselves. Don’t know what the practice is at MidCentral though.
I think this container has been lying around, hopefully inside a safe, for a while. Again, would be interesting to find out where the container was when it disappeared.
