Ode to driveillity
 
Notes upon a pad, our being unfold
 our way of getting by.
 Old and frail now the body yet,
still essence undimmed spirit unbound.

We effuse as we exude into the future
the best of now, is getting by.
We are but an epitaph

 to our own driveility.

Dare I enter the realm of bards
Cast my drivel to the winds
 and face the countervane.
 
Yes. I'll take a chance!
My spirit cry. Behold!
My drivility flies free
It's challenge upon fates winds .

Like it if you will or not,
 what comes of it is what's best.
Sticks and Stones? perhaps I'll flinch,
then learn from from what is got.
 
But, if there is a kiss or two,
perhaps this bard is getting by.
So Hell Why! don't you,
 take a poets chance, and cast
 your spirit free to be what, you, want to be.
