I am utterley heartbroken. Apparently she is using the earthquake as an excuse saying the boys couldn't cope but that is just an excuse. Steve, their father, is beside himself...been to a lawyer who might be able to do something $300 perhour... bummer. Title: Re: Brownie Post by: dragontamer on April 05, 2011, 01:29:00 pm Awww Brownie, that sucks.
Can he not get legal aid for whatever it's called seeing as he's the victim? Title: Re: Brownie Post by: Brownie55 on April 06, 2011, 07:32:21 pm Awww Brownie, that sucks. Brownie ... there are people who do this stuff for free .. or a minimal amount .. one thing to remember is .. the woman is not allowed to remove children without prior consent if it means they dont get the contact with family that they had. And the sooner he stops it the better. The eq is a valid reason she could move BUT she still needs to go through the proper channels and there are other bits like family contact that must be adhered to. Was there any Family Court involvement at all? Title: Re: Brownie Post by: Brownie55 on April 11, 2011, 09:02:53 pm That is what I thought as well LL. She took off to Invercargill straight after the earthquake saying she was going for a couple of weeks..next thing she had a house and boys in kindy and school.
steve is heartbroken both boys have had their birthdays since then, I wish I could give him some good advice ..... And our new grandaughter still not arrived she is 2 days overdue now.
