Title: Old fashioned razor blades........where have they gone. Post by: donquixotenz on March 01, 2009, 04:29:34 pm I have found over the years having tried most types of shavers that the old fashioned safety razor gives the best shave next to a prfessionally done cut-throat from the old type barber who now are an endangered specis.
A few years ago I bought 10 packs of wilkinson sword razor blades when my regular barber retired and now I am down to last pack. I have searched every where and even emailed wilkinson with no luck. I know these blades are still in use and reasonably availabe overseas but not here in NZ. None of the barbers stock them and littl;e else nowdays. The chemist.s hav'nt a clue where to get them And the supermarkets couldnt give a stuff. Have any of the oldies had this problem and do they know anywhere I might get a restock..preferably in auckland but will source anywhere. Desperate.........
