A British tabloid has published photos of 14-times Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps partaking in drugs. The New of the World has published a photo of swimmer Phelps, who won a record eight golds at the Beijing Olympics last year, using a bong. The glass pipes are often used to smoke marijuana. It is reported that the photo was taken a few weeks after the Beijing Olympics at the University Of South Carolina. Phelps was at the university meeting his girlfriend at the time. Strict drug laws in Olympic sports could mean Phelps will face a four-year ban from swimming, which could include the London Olympics in 2012. One party-goer who witnessed the American's behaviour told the News of the World: "He was out of control from the moment he got there.
