Title: Donald loves Vladimir…

from The Seattle Times....

Allies can't compete with bromance

Trump likely to get peevish with NATO allies before his love fest with Putin.

By DAVID HORSEY | 3:56PM PDT — Monday, July 09, 2018

(https://static.seattletimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/NATO-ONLINE-COLOR-RGB-1020x671.jpg) (https://static.seattletimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/NATO-ONLINE-COLOR-RGB.jpg)

IF the past is prologue, President Trump can be counted on to antagonize and offend long-standing allies at the NATO meeting (https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/nation-politics/apxtrump-s-strained-visit-with-nato-meeting-with-putin) in Brussels this week. Then, during his follow-up summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, NATO's greatest adversary, Trump is almost certain to sing the praises of the dictator and act as if they are the closest of chums. After these two meetings, referring to the President of the United States as the Leader of the Free World may be a gross misnomer.

I wonder if Donald is going to offer to suck Vladamir's dick at Helsinki?

Vladamir Putin has been paying special attention to how Xi Jinping and Kim Jong-un “played President Dumb like a fiddle!”

So now Vladamir Putin is going to put in practice what he learnt and will also “play President Dumb like a fiddle!”

Faaaaarking hilarious, eh?

from The Washington Post…

Putin is about to con Trump in Helsinki. Here's how.

Putting the blame for Crimea on Obama increases their special bond.

IT may be harder to predict what the American president — versus his Russian counterpart — will say at the July 16 summit in Helsinki (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-and-putin-will-meet-july-16-in-helsinki-washington-and-moscow-announce/2018/06/28/93043146-7ac3-11e8-80be-6d32e182a3bc_story.html). Indeed, President Trump's unpredictability contrasts with a rather easy-to-read Vladimir Putin. And that should make many people nervous.

With his KGB training (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/inatl/longterm/russiagov/putin.htm), Putin will be well prepared for this meeting. Trump and his advisers should anticipate three main approaches.

First, having observed what has and has not worked for other leaders, Putin undoubtedly will offer Trump praise and flattery. Putin is sure to remark how Trump overcame the odds in a presidential election few thought he could win — most likely including, by the way, Putin himself.

Putin will emphasize Trump's ability to be his own man, unbeholden to the “swamp creatures” of Washington. He will admire Trump's candor and readiness to defy norms, especially by challenging allies who are “taking advantage” of the United States.

Putin will credit Trump for meeting with him despite the Mueller investigation (https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2018/politics/mueller-russia-probe) into potential Trump campaign ties with Russia. Their very meeting, Putin will argue, shows there is nothing untoward between the two leaders. Putin will certainly share Trump's disdain for the media (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-dishes-it-out-gently-with-the-washington-media-he-loves-to-hate/2018/03/04/c7144496-1f59-11e8-b2d9-08e748f892c0_story.html) and compare stories of “fake news” — of which the Mueller investigation and allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 campaign, the two leaders will surely agree, are perfect examples. So unfair, Putin will declare. And Putin will note admiringly Trump's ability to stay connected with the constituency that elected him (https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2018/politics/trump-crowd-sound).

Second, Putin will blame (https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/15/politics/trump-blame-obama-crimea/index.html) all of the problems in U.S.-Russia relations on Trump's predecessor, Barack Obama. Not lost on those in Moscow is Trump's readiness to seek to do the opposite of what Obama did. As Trump himself has said, Obama let Putin take Crimea (https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/09/politics/trump-russia-g8-press-conference/index.html). Putin will say that it was Obama who imposed sanctions on Russia and accused Moscow of interfering in the election in an attempt to discredit Trump's legitimacy.

Putin will also argue that it was Obama's failure in Syria that forced Russia to take action there to secure Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad's position against Islamic extremists. We have the same goals in Syria, Putin will state. If you, America, want out, then we, Russia, are willing to step in. Pay no attention, Putin will say, to talk about Russian-Iranian collaboration in Syria (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2017/07/26/theres-plenty-of-trump-russia-collusion-in-syria).

Obama and the Europeans were behind the revolution in Ukraine, Putin will claim, leading to a coup forcing out that country's previous president, Viktor Yanukovych. That left Putin little alternative but to intervene to protect Russian citizens in Crimea. After all, Putin will say, they speak Russian in Crimea and really belong to Russia anyway — a point Trump himself reportedly made at the Group of Seven (https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/trump-calls-for-russia-to-be-reinstated-to-g7-threatens-allies-on-trade/2018/06/08/6a13d876-6b15-11e8-bea7-c8eb28bc52b1_story.html) meeting last month.

To seek Trump's support for a Russian sphere of influence, Putin will argue that Russia has much greater interests in the region than the United States does. Imagine all the problems that could have been avoided had Obama minded his own business and stayed out of Ukraine, Putin will claim. Don't forget, Putin will add, that reports of alleged payments to former Trump campaign manager (https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/we-know-an-awful-lot-about-manafort-and-russia-trump-cant-make-it-disappear/2018/04/24/8669aa3c-4270-11e8-ad8f-27a8c409298b_story.html) Paul Manafort from the Yanukovych circle — part of the current “witch hunt” against Trump — originated in Ukraine.

Third, Putin will appeal to Trump's apparent desire to take a wrecking ball to the international order of the past seven decades, including institutions such as NATO, the European Union, the World Trade Organization and the G-7. Putin will claim that he and Trump have had enough of these institutions, which seek to block Russia and exploit U.S. generosity. Let's start over, Putin will urge, to build the greatest partnership between Russia and the United States ever.

Only Trump, Putin will claim, is bold enough to toss aside these obsolete institutions and build a new foundation in their place. Such a foundation should be laid by the two great powers, Russia and the United States, led by their two great current leaders. Their meeting in Helsinki opens the way for the two of them to make history. Smaller countries, the Russian leader will posit, only get in the way of a brighter future together. Indeed, he and Trump could make Russian-American relations great again!

And, if none of that works, well, Putin has some beachfront property he can offer Trump.

The scariest part about all of this is that it just may work. Trump's eagerness to meet with Putin, his call in March congratulating Putin (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trumps-national-security-advisers-warned-him-not-to-congratulate-putin-he-did-it-anyway/2018/03/20/22738ebc-2c68-11e8-8ad6-fbc50284fce8_story.html) on his “re-election” and his willingness to believe Putin’s denial of interference in the 2016 U.S. election do not bode well. We can only hope that Trump's unpredictability proves this dire forecast wrong.

President Xi played Donald J. Trump like a fiddle.

Kim Jong-un played Donald J. Trump like a fiddle.

And now Vladamir Putin is about to play Donald J. Trump like fiddle.

Hilarious, eh? The United States of America is led by a simpleton moron who gets played like a fiddle.

The entire “intelligent world” is laughing at America. Only dumbfucks from hick towns like Woodville aren't.

I see that Donald Trump liked sucking Vladamir Putin's dick so much that he has invited him to visit the White House for another dick-sucking session.

Haw haw haw .... perhaps Donald could seat Putin in his chair at his desk in the oval office, then get beneath the desk to suck Putin's dick.

from The Washington Post…

Trump sees dead people. And they talk.

With increasing frequency, the president has become a medium.

By DANA MILBANK | 6:45PM EDT — Friday, July 20, 2018

THE NEXT TIME you are about to ridicule something seemingly foolish that President Trump has said or done — and there were many instances in the past week — be forewarned: He has supernatural powers.

He sees dead people.

He doesn't just see them. He talks to them and relays their thoughts back to the living. This president may do things large, but I've been noticing with increasing frequency that he is also a medium.

A few weeks ago, while posthumously honoring a World War II hero, Trump gave the man’s family a report (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-presentation-medal-honor-first-lieutenant-garlin-m-conner-u-s-army) on their departed loved one. He was “looking down from Heaven, proud of this incredible honor, but even prouder of the legacy that lives on in each of you. So true.”

A few weeks before that, at what was billed as a celebration of patriotism at the White House, Trump reported to the crowd (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-celebration-america-event) that fallen soldiers are pleased with his economic policies and increases in the stock market. “Many of them are looking down right now at our country, and they are proud,” he said.

Sometimes, Trump pinpoints the location of the deceased, using some psychic GPS. At an outdoor Medal of Honor ceremony in May for soldiers lost at a battle in Afghanistan, Trump pointed at a location in the sky and said (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-presentation-medal-honor-master-chief-britt-slabinski-u-s-navy), “They are looking down right now.” A week before that, outside the Capitol, Trump pointed to a point in the sky over his head and told the family (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5732423/Trump-consoles-mother-gunned-NYPD-cop-declares-end-attacks-police.html) of a slain police detective: “So she's right now, right there. And she's looking down.”

Occasionally, something must get lost in the cloud and Trump receives a heavenly miscommunication. Speaking to a steelworker (https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/politics/2018/03/08/trump-told-steel-worker-that-his-father-looking-down-him-except-dad-still-alive/ujeCbx5nt6Q6yUOV8dVVlJ/story.html) at the White House in March, Trump informed the man: “Your father, Herman, he's looking down, and he's very proud of you right now.”

“Oh, he's still alive,” the steelworker said.

“Then he's even more proud of you,” Trump said.

Hillary Clinton communed with Eleanor Roosevelt (http://www.cnn.com/US/9606/22/hillary.book) under the auspices of a woman who studied the psychic experience. Nancy Reagan consulted an astrologer (http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-nancy-reagan-astrology-20160306-story.html) after her husband was shot in 1981.

But now we have the president himself talking directly with dead people — and even, on occasion, God. After his inauguration, Trump announced (http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2017/01/trump-blasts-media-for-reporting-size-of-inauguration-crowd.html) that “God looked down and he said, ‘We're not going to let it rain on your speech’.” (There must have been some miscommunication over the celestial transom, because it rained.)

After a column of mine mentioned one of Trump's conversations with the dead, I was contacted by Karen Park, a professor of theology and religious studies at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. “My sense is that this is what passes for spirituality for Trump — a world where imaginary dead white people take an elevator to a heavenly penthouse where they look down on him with approval,” she told me.

Many of us believe in an afterlife or at least take comfort in thinking our departed loved ones are, in some form, still with us. But Park is suspicious of Trump's self-serving “fantasies about happy dead people blessing his presidency and this country.” Such fantasies “make us feel good and require nothing from us at all,” argued Park, who specializes in American religious history.

In fairness, Trump does allow that some people may not land in that gauzy heaven. In 2016 in Iowa, he threw a group of farmers a theological curveball after telling them they would be looking down happily after death. “We hope you're looking down, anyway,” he amended.

Occasionally, Trump's conversations with the departed have been strikingly detailed. In May 2017, Fox News's Jeanine Pirro asked Trump what his late brother Fred is “telling you now.”

“He's telling me just keep doing what you're doing,” Trump replied (https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-brother-fred_us_5917be09e4b00f308cf5bad1). Fred Trump, in his brother's view, had particular interest in the border, trade, jobs and North Korea.

Trump's mother, the president has said on more than one occasion, “is looking down,” particularly around Mother’s Day. His father looks down, too, though seemingly less often.

Trump informed Jerry Falwell Jr. (http://time.com/4778240/donald-trump-liberty-university-speech-transcript), president of Liberty University, that his father “is looking down on you right now and he is proud.” Same with Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen's mom. And golfer Justin Rose's father.

This communion across the Great Divide didn't just come up when Trump ran for president. At a 1984 game of the doomed USFL football league, he told a sportscaster (http://www.sportingnews.com/us/ncaa-football/news/donald-trump-usfl-new-jersey-generals-birmingham-stallions-bear-bryant-iron-bowl-nfl-doug-flutie-steve-young/uad9gokdczf118wd8hndi9cry) that “I suspect that Bear Bryant might be looking down on the stadium right now.”

Over time, Trump has honed the medium message. Addressing Congress last year, Trump honored the widow of Navy SEAL Ryan Owens (https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2017/03/01/the-pundits-are-wrong-trumps-handling-of-the-ryan-owens-affair-was-contemptibly-cynical), who died in a controversial raid that Trump approved. Lawmakers applauded for more than two minutes.

“Ryan is looking down right now,” Trump reported to the chamber (https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/02/28/517849426/in-emotional-moment-of-speech-trump-addresses-navy-seals-widow). “And he's very happy, because I think he just broke a record.”

Was Owens looking down happily? Did he care if he posthumously broke an applause record?

God knows. And the president.

Trump: played like a fiddle by the world's despots.

Yet the funny thing is, he's too stupid to even know he's been played like a fiddle.

The world is pissing themselves laughing at America's clown emperor with no clothes.

Meanwhile, China is getting greater, thanks to President Dumb.
