Title: Missing Chocolate Burmese - Hastings
Post by: Alicat on January 03, 2014, 07:33:15 am
Posting this here as just another means of getting the info out there that my 85 year old friend Grace's Chocolate Burmese Girl has gone missing.

Sophie is a 6 year old typically nosey and inquisitive Burmese. She went missing from Caroline Road Hastings on Tuesday 31 December. She was last seen around 1000hrs at her front gate - people watching!

I have put Sophie on petsonthenet, Facebook, Trade Me. Emailed posters to the SPCA (Grace had already rung them) and Vet Clinics. Friends are doing a flyer letterbox drop today.

Grace is an absolute mess as we can all imagine. Sophie is very much Grace's girl and knows stranger danger. Although very friendly and affectionate to visitors and friends when they are inside her home, Sophie is wary of people outside and is unlikely to let them pick her up.

I am responsible for Grace adopting Sophie as a retired Breeding Queen. Sophie had one litter before being spayed so was only just 2 years old when she went to live with Grace.

Sophie is absolutely gorgeous and had I not met her, I would not have my Bailey now.
